Hudson Fire Department Search and Rescue is staffed with people of various ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. We all share a common interest in serving our community and helping others. Most members are avid outdoors people — plumbers, EMTs, Firefighters,students, paramedics, backpackers, cyclists, and electricians to name a few.

We maintaina an active membership and require attendance to monthy meetings, monthly and quartely field training, work days, and annual fundraising events. The Hudson Fire Department Search and Rescue Team requires NIMS (National Incident Management System training) as well as NASAR (National Association for Search and Rescue) SAR Tech III, II, I, as well as Wilderness Medical First and First Responder level training.  

Hudson Fire Department Search and Rescue pays for much of the training listed above but not ALL of it. 

Our Team meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Hudson Fire Department located at 3731 Ted Trout Dr, 75904
